Q. 1. What does it cost to get started?
A. Depending on the product or services you may need for your business, a small setup fee may apply.  For most standard accounts, there is no setup fee.

Q. 2. Do I have a contract with a cancellation fee?
A. We at Omega Bank Card feel it is important to keep our clients with great service, not long term contracts with high cancellation fees like many companies choose to do. In most cases there will be No cancellation fee on our merchant’s account.  Depending on if equipment was placed in the business, a small early termination fee may apply.  This is explained up front and there are no surprises!

Q. 3. Do I have an annual fee or any other quarterly or services fees?
A. Many companies charge fees anywhere in the range of $25 – $300 per year for unexpected services fees not listed on the main section of the application.  With Omega all of our fees are written out on the main merchant agreement page so our merchants understand what will be charged. That includes all of our rates and monthly fees. We do not have any fees hidden on the back in fine print. What you see is what you get!

Q. 4. How long does it take to set-up an account?
A. Once we receive the necessary signed paper work, upon approval, your account will be active within 48 hours. On many occasions accounts are active the next day.

Q. 5. How long does it take for the funds to be transferred to my account?
A. This depends on the time your terminal is settled. In most cases, terminals that settle out before 6:00 p.m. CST, funds will be available in your account the next business day. In others funds will be available within 24 to 48 hours which is standard for all processors.

Q. 6. What if I have questionable credit?
A. Omega Bank Card has one of the highest approval rates in the industry along with multiple platforms to help accommodate our merchants. This means that in most situations we will be able to accommodate your business.

Q. 7. When the terminal/software dials out for approval, am I charged any long distance or communication fees?
A. No, communication is all done on a toll free line, but of course it depends on what your service agreement is with your telecommunications company.

Q. 8. What about support?
A. Omega Bank Card provides quality support for all our customers. Regardless of time zone, you will have 24-7 access to technical support as well as your personal sales representative’s direct phone number during normal business hours.

Q. 9. Do I need a dedicated phone line?
A. No, most terminals have dual phone jacks. This gives you the ability to connect the terminal and other peripheral equipment (modem, phone, fax) to one line. The terminal normally only ties up the line 5-10 seconds. But, you will be unable to use the terminal if the line is occupied. All of our terminals now support IP processing, so you will not need a phone line as long as you have a high speed internet connection.

Q. 10. Who installs the terminal?
A. If we have a local sells representative in your area, the representative will personally come out to install and train you on the equipment. If there is no representative in your area, you will receive toll free assistance and instructions which making the terminal installation and training process very simple.
