Board Square through Omega and you can run a 4% cash discount path: the posted price is the card price, cash guests get 4% off, and that offset covers processing. This is a partner program, not a Square.com self-serve toggle. We set the POS and signage so staff run the same program you tell guests.

If you process more than $250,000 per year, Square may offer custom processing fees, hardware discounts, and implementation support. Omega will tell you whether that path, or Clover, is the cleaner quote.

Hardware is separate

Square sets device prices. Omega maps Register, Terminal, Handheld, and the rest to your floor so you are not buying a dual-screen kit you do not need.

What Omega still does

Square’s website can enroll you on published rack rates. A partner is useful when you want Square’s 4% cash discount to offset processing, custom volume pricing, Clover placement, or a kitchen that still needs a human on go-live day.

Frequently asked questions

Who sets Square’s prices?

Square publishes software plans and processing rates. Omega is a Square partner. We help you choose a plan, hardware mix, and onboarding path. We do not invent a different Square list price.

Do Plus and Premium include a free trial?

Square offers a 30-day trial on Square Plus and Square Premium, and you can cancel or switch plans. Square Free has no monthly software fee. You still pay processing when you take a card payment.

Is the monthly fee per location?

Yes. Square Plus is $49 per month per location. Square Premium is $149 per month per location. Square Free is $0 per month per location.

Does Square offer cash discount?

Yes. Square now offers a 4% cash discount rate through partners to offset processing fees. Omega can board you on that path, including signage and POS setup. It is separate from Square’s published rack rates (2.6% + 15¢ in person on Square Free) and from Omega’s Clover dual-pricing program. Confirm current terms with us before you reprint menus or shelf labels.

What if I process more than $250,000 a year?

Square may offer custom pricing and processing fees at that volume. Omega can walk that conversation with you, including whether Clover, interchange-plus, or dual pricing is a cleaner fit than Square’s posted rates.

Does the plan include hardware?

No. Register, Terminal, Handheld, Stand, Kiosk, Reader, and kitchen display are sold separately under Square’s hardware pricing. KDS and Kiosk also have per-device app fees on Plus and Premium. Do not assume Clover no-cost placement applies to Square.

Can Omega still quote Clover or another processor?

Yes. Square is an addition, not a replacement. If Square’s posted rates are not the better deal for your mix, we will say so and quote the path that is.
